Your submission for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transmission, in the latter case, provided that no disproportionate effort is caused, can be addressed to the address of the law firm stated in point 9 of this declaration. If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you may submit a complaint to the competent supervisory authority. The Data Protection Authority is responsible for this in Austria (see Point 10).
3. Data security
Your personal data are protected by the relevant organisational and technical precautions. In particular, these precautions pertain to protection against unauthorised, unlawful and accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding efforts to maintain a consistently high level of due diligence, the possibility cannot be excluded that the information you provide to us over the internet may be viewed and used by others. Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorised access by third parties not caused by us (e.g. hacking of email accounts or telephone, interception of faxes).
4. Use of the data

An exception to this is use for in-house statistical purposes, provided that the data provided are rendered anonymous.
5. Transmission of data to third parties
In order to fulfil your order, it may also be necessary to pass on your data to third parties (e.g. counterparties, substitutes, insurance companies, service providers we use and to whom we make data available (e.g. document archive or register of wills of the RAe) etc.), courts or authorities. Your data will be forwarded solely on the basis of the GDPR, in particular to fulfil your order on the basis of your prior consent. We would also like to point out that factual and case-related information about you is regularly obtained from third parties within the framework of our legal representation and guidance. Some of the recipients of your data mentioned above may be located outside your country or may process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries is not always the same as that of Austria. However, we will only transmit your personal data to countries that the EU Commission has determined as having an adequate level of data protection or we will take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection for which we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).
6. Disclosure of data leaks
We will endeavour to ensure that data leaks are promptly detected and, where appropriate, report them to you or the responsible regulatory body, taking into account the relevant data categories affected.
7. Storage of data
We will not store data for longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or statutory obligations and avert any liability claims. As titles (judgements, settlements, etc.) obtained for you can be enforced for 30 years, we will generally keep a copy of our files for 30 years in your interest (Section 9 of the Lawyer Code).
8. Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to us automatically, with a view to optimising this website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and the provision of useful information about our services.
